Indoor night time protection from mosquitoes is a part of our daily routine. It is usually done through mosquito nets, coils and repellents. However dengue and chikungunya causing mosquitoes are active throughout the day.[1]
Protection from mosquitoes-borne diseases is the best way to prevent them as there are no vaccines for these diseases.[2-4] Also, there is no specific treatment for dengue or chikungunya. [2-4]
The WHO recommends protection too and suggests the use of personal repellents on exposed parts of the body to deter mosquitoes.[5-7]
